I am a certified teacher of the deaf and hard of hearing for 15 years. I graduated from Texas Woman's University with a bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and a master's degree in Deaf Education.
It is an honor and privilege to work with students and their families. I work with children, ranging from infants to high school age, and their families. I love watching students grow and seeing their 'ah-ha!' moments and how these change their lives! I strive to inspire students and families to adopt attitudes of perseverance, effort, flexibility, curiosity about life/learning and the willingness to make mistakes and learn from them. These are what make the difference in the lives of the students' I serve.
